Question 1

What is "Showing Beacon" on ShowingTime?

Accepted Answer

Beacon is seller report software for listing agents. When an agent connects ShowingTime to Beacon, their showing notifications and buyer feedback are sent to a private Beacon inbox, and Beacon adds them to that listing's weekly seller report. Nothing changes about how showings are booked in ShowingTime.

Question 2

Does Beacon replace ShowingTime?

Accepted Answer

No. You keep scheduling showings in ShowingTime exactly as you do today. Beacon reads the showing and feedback notifications ShowingTime already sends and turns them into the showing section of your seller report.

Question 3

Do I have to connect each listing separately?

Accepted Answer

No. You add your Beacon inbox address to ShowingTime one time. Every showing and every feedback response after that is matched to the right listing automatically.

Question 4

Can I edit or add showings myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anything the integration adds can be overridden, and you can add a showing, open house or broker tour by hand from the listing's showings section, with the feedback attached.
